PacNW Summer 2022 Finishing & GK Camp - Federal Way
This camp is a 3-day camp focused on the concept "Can I score?", often a phrase or expression that is overlooked throughout our development as soccer players, yet pertinent to the outcome of the spaces and games we find ourselves in.
All players involved will get the repetition and experience needed, within various situations they find themselves within the game, to:
- Increase confidence in front of the goal
- Improve striking technique
- Create goal-scoring opportunities
- Master the "attacking third"
Goalkeepers will gain experience and repetition from various situations within different aspects, phases, and spaces of the game focusing on the technical and tactical elements of goalkeeping, increasing confidence through:
- Decision-making
- Positioning
- Leadership
- Proper technique
- Build-up in the first third
Open to players ages 8-16 years old.
Dates: August 22-24th
Times: 9:30 - 11:30 AM
Field Player Cost: Early bird registration - $150; After Monday, August 15th - $175
Goalkeeper Cost: Free!
Location: Federal Way Field
We ask that each participant bring an age-appropriate soccer ball marked with player name and phone number as well as a water bottle and shin guards.
PacNW Camp Refund Policy: Refunds will be awarded only when (a) a refund request is made one week prior to the start of the program’s first session; (b) a player is injured and is unable to return to the program (a signed physician’s note required); (c) a family moves beyond a 50-mile radius of Starfire Sports Complex; (d) child is sick or has been exposed to COVID and is unable to attend.
