The Washington Youth Soccer Association is excited to be hosting a US Soccer National "C" License beginning in July of 2016.  This course will focus on the development of players between the ages of U15 and U18.  

Overview:

The U.S. Soccer Coaching Department is committed to providing soccer coaches, from beginner to advanced, with up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge so that coaches across the United States can ensure that players develop to their full potential.

Course Structure:

The C course will adapt a similar structure to the D course. The C course will consist of two face-to-face meetings, over the span of roughly three months. Meeting 1 will take place over 8 days, similar to the educational phase from the previous course structure. After the educational phase, candidates will depart the meeting and return to a future evaluation center.

The C course will also have initial assignments, that will be due before the first face-to-face meeting takes place. After the completion of Meeting 1, candidates will also have assignments or tasks to complete during the Development Period, which takes place in a candidates’ home environment. The final meeting will take place roughly three months after Meeting 1. This Final Meeting will include candidates’ evaluation. All candidates must attend both meetings to be eligible to earn their C license.

Administrative Details

·      All candidates must have an active account in the US Soccer Digital Coaching Center.  In May/June all registered candidates will receive a code to access the C License curriculum in the Digital Coaching Center.

·      All candidates must have been awarded their National D License prior to July 25, 2015.  All candidates will be verified through the US Soccer Digital Coaching Center at the time of registration.  If a candidate registers for this course without having the appropriate license, they will be removed from the course and their registration fee will be refunded minus a $100 processing fee.

·      ALL CANDIDATES MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS OF THIS SPECIFIC COURSE.  By registering to attend this course you are committing to attend the sessions in July, 2016 and October, 2016.

·      Meal and lodging are not included in the price. More information will be provided regarding lodging discount and food.

·      The final schedule with session times will be released in June.

·      C license specific policy:  Below is the timeline of the cancellations and refund policy, relative to the course start date:

Registration: 25% of tuition
8 weeks out: 50% of tuition
7 weeks out: 75% of tuition
6 weeks out: 100% of tuition
